The Zeta Squadron (Slavic: Эскадрилья Зета), is a fighter squadron belonging to the Zloveshchiyan Air Force comprising of 18 fighters within the squadron, whose primary purpose is to protect and patrol the mainland and coast of Zloveshchiy, and to act as air support in times of war.
Established in 1983, it was originally founded to be an elite squadron of the airforce, being the first to be fitted with the latest fighters at that time, the Kislota Ki-29 and the Kislota Ki-31, and only recently, the Kislota Ki-35.
The Zeta Squadron proved to be effective in the War of the Three States, supporting and maintaining both the ground and air respectively, along with exceptional use of its equipment, the squadron was nicknamed "The Hawks" (Ястребы) due to their capabilities.
Plans have been made to whether to fit the squadron with the latest 5th generation fighter, the Kislota Ki-144, but there has been no mention of it ever since.
