Tsagistan, officially the Imperial State of Tsagistan (Tsagistani Arabic: دولت شاهنشاهی تسگیستان Dowlat-E Shahanshahi-ye Tsagistan) is a nation that is located in Ecros. It is bordered by Pavulturilor to the north, the Caelean Sea to the east, and the Romanyan Sea to the west, Tsagistan's capital is Tsaganshahr, located near the Zangid Mountain Chains in the north, and the largest city is Bandar Giad, located near the coast of the Caelean Sea. As of 2023, Tsagistan has a population of 31.5 Million people

Capital City

Tsagistan's capital city, Tsaganshahr (Tsagistani Arabic: تساگان شهر) has a population of about 5.1 Million people, and is the executive seat of government for the country. It is home to the Soltani House, the current seat of the House of Soltani, and is home to many historical sites and cultural sites.

The largest city of Tsagistan is Bandar Giad (Tsagistani Arabic: بندرگیاد) It has a population of 8.5 Million people, and is home to most of the economic hubs and busiest departments of Tsagistan, including the tallest structure of the country, the Borj-i-Esther, a multi-purpose tower, Esther Mall and the Soltani Port, the largest and busiest shipping port in Tsagistan.

Second Largest

The second largest city in Tsagistan is Caricas, officially Shahr-e-Caricas (Tsagistani Arabic: شهر کا ر یکاس) It has a population os 7.8 Million people, and it is an important city to people's adhering to Etherianism as it is home to most of the churches of said religion. It is also a city with a significant population of Pavulturilori Jews and it is believed that this is the place where Esther, a Tsagi queen, died and was buried under an Ether church.

Leader of Tsagistan

The current monarch of Tsagistan is Shah Irwin IV (Tsagistani Arabic: شاه اروین) who has reigned from the year 1697-1777 (according to Tsagistani Calendar) his role is seen as holy and important for the nation's morale, and the heir to the throne is Mohammed Avesta Soltani (Tsagistani Arabic: محمد اوستا سلطانی) and the current ruling dynasty of Tsagistan is the House of Soltani

Etymology

The name "Tsagistan" comes from the Tsagistani Arabic words "Stan" and "Tsagi" which translates to "Land of the Tsagi". This name was used during the times when Tsagistan was united into one single kingdom and now, the Tsagi's believe that all the population are loosely the decendants of Tsagi, a former great king of Tsagistan.

History

Prehistory

Studies of human settlements dates back to 756 BC, mostly concentrated around the Caelean Sea. There were 2 main tribes inhabiting modern Tsagistan, 1 in the coastal lowlands region and the other concentrated around the mountains. During these periods, each tribes have discovered different technologies, such as the Ali Fatah Irrigation system, founded near the mountains, earliest known agriculture in the Caelean coast included harvesting barley, dates, wheat, vanilla and sugar.
