History
The club was created by the Steðjason brothers,Tjörfi Steðjason and Gígjar Steðjason in 14th of May 1902. The original idea at first was only a ski club but when Tjörfi Steðjason was visiting Tirol, he witnessed the local football team play and he liked the sport so much that he wanted to bring it in Reykanes as well and thus they created a duo sport club, the ski remained because the other brother wanted to keep it.
Recognition
From the beggining the brothers wanted to create a official national team but, since Reykanes as a sovereign state didn't exist, it existed as a Grand Duchy under Salisford, where such thing wouldn't be allowed, only as a club they operated. As the years passed, they started to negotiate to allow them to complete in the world of football. As the years went by, the autonomy grew as well and they recieved more freedom in 1904, the year they managed to compete with another football team. by 1920s they were mostly regarded as a unofficial team of reykanes, which recieved praise from Reykani nationalist, Salisfordian officials viewed it as a negative sign but they didn't ban it because fear of breaking the balance of Reykanies and Salisfordians.
Creeperian Tour of Ecros
This was the highlight of the early years of the team. Upon the announcement of the Tour of Ecros, the club owners invited Creeperopolis to travel to the Grand Duchy of Reykanes to play a friendly match with them. A invitation of a Castillian referee was organized as well. The match was deemed to be unofficial. The home ground was renovated to have the capacity of 200. The match did create attention, thus the seats filled up completely. The match was a complete loss for the club. It became the biggest international defeat for the club and the best unofficial match for Creeperopolis. Even if it's a big loss, it did create a spike of interest for football in Reykanes.

Controversies
Most Controversies come from the fact that some owners were communist sympathizers and had Anti-Salisfordian activities. These mostly become known by the late 1940s since it was mostly kept secret. Most notable were 2 club owners, who were put in prison for their actions. Þormundur Eyleifsson was the first one. He was charged for aiding underground communist parties. He went to prison in 1947 and was released in 1949 after the revolution. Vernharð Birtisson was the second person. He become the owner of the club in 1947 till 1949. After the previous owner went to prison, he kept his intentions secret. He was a communist supporter as well and he aided them as well. He used football as a political tool and organized matches to spread the communist ideas around in secret to get new members. As a result nationalism grew as well and more and more people were anti Salisfordian. He also organized the infamous match againts Noundures.
Match with Noundures
In 1949 Vernharð Birtisson organized a football match with a unrecognized football team in Sur, he realized if Reykanes wants to become independent, unlikely allies are needed under the Salisfordian sphere. Both sides had one aim, to get independence from Salisford. A football match was organized to bring the two sides together. The club traveled to Noundures, the match was unpublished and illegal, even then it created attention and there were over 7000 spectators. The match ended in a draw of 2-2. The match between a unrecognized and a colonial team wasn't viewed positively and soon it was found out by authorities, and most of the players were arrested, the owner and some players went in to hiding.
