The National Parliament of Icaris is the legislative body in the Theocratic States of Icaris. It is composed of 42 members, the State Ministry, the Council of Delegates, the Prime Minister and the Speaker of the Council of Delegates. The Prime Minister is the chief executive of the National Parliament; serving as it's presiding officer. The National Parliament varies between two and four year bodies as the State Minister elections are every four years while the council of delegate elections are every six. The National Parliament operates with the lower house, the Council of Delegates passes legislation and the upper house, the State Ministry, approves or rejects it. Legislation passed by both houses go to the President for approval.
