The National Assembly of Gjorka is the unicameral legislature of Gjorka. In accordance with the Constitution of Gjorka, sovereignty belongs to the people, and that power is vested in the Assembly. The Assembly consists of 450 members, all of whom are elected every five years.
Members of the Assembly are elected via a Mixed-member proportional representation system for their term of 5 years. The Assembly is de jure led by the Presider (whom is also the President) however in almost all most day to day operations the Presider delegates running the assembly to the Majority Leader.
