Groffenord–Reykanes–Svedonia
On 16 April 2014, the three associations announced the interest of placing a joint bid. A year later on 9 April 2015, the Football Associations from Groffenord, Reykanes and Svedonia, submited to place a joint bid for hosting the tournament.
Previously, LFE 1963 had been held in Reykanes with Quebeschire. It would be 60 years ago that Reykanes hosted a LFE tournament.
The football Associations proposed three stadias per country to host. The following are the host cities and stadia selected for the joint bid:
- Groffenord:
- Beauvois – Beauvois International Stadium, capacity 50,000
- Reykanes:
- Cape Nátfari – Cape Stadium, capacity 50,000
- Hafnir – Grindavíkurvöllur Stadium, capacity 40,000
(to be expanded to 50,000 if selected)
- Hafnir – Reykanesi Athletic Stadium, capacity 25,000
(to be expanded to 30,000 if selected)
Most areas will have a good transportation system connected to the areas in mind. The stadiums will be in the centers of the cities with all the everyday necessities available closeby. All training, housing facilities will be located nearby. The region is famous for safety and low crime rates.
Jackson and Kivu
On January 22nd 2018, the Kivuian and Jackian Football Associations announced their intentions to submit a joint bid to host LFE Ecros 2023. On January 23rd 2018, both associations voted nearly unanimously to officially place a bid to host LFE 2023 Ecros.
The football associations proposed 5 stadiums located in five cities across the two countries that have enough capacity and adequate facilities, they are:
- Greenville – Greenville Stadium capacity of 106,000
- Hauptstadt – Haupstadt Stadion capacity of 94,000
- Jacksonville City – Tower Park capacity of 92,000
- Ozeanstadt – Küsten Park capacity of 89,000
- Victoria – Victoria Park Stadium capacity of 93,000
The Kivuian and Jackian governments believe these venues to be the optimal place to host the LFE, they have significant public transportation, along with close by necessities like restaurants and hotels. These stadiums also have the optimal weather for maximum player efficiency.
Voting results
The LFE Executive Committee voted for the host in a secret ballot, with a simple majority required to determine the host. In the event of a tie, the bid with the fewest votes will be eliminated. Of the 16 members, the six members representing x were ineligible to vote, leaving a total of x voting members.
