Gray Calhoun is the founder and former CEO of renewable energy company Axis Renewables, the largest nuclear energy company in the world. Calhoun founded Axis Renewables in 2039 after his defense contracting company, Paragon-Global Solutions, of which he founded in 2023, was bought out by Sasha Petrov's, Trovos Corporation in 2034 and fired Calhoun.

After retiring as a Colonel in the Icarisian Air Corps, Calhoun founded Paragon-Global Solutions.
Introduction to Nuclear Energy
After he was fired from his defense company, he went to school and earned a masters in nuclear engineering. He got a job as a nuclear engineer at Stargate Nuclear Energy Corporation.
Axis Renewables
Using investment money, Calhoun bought up uranium refineries by undercutting Stargate NEC and forcing them to buy uranium from him. With the money he gained from Stargate, he bought several smaller nuclear plants and refused to sell uranium or supplies to Stargate. Once Stargate was in shambled, he purchased controlling stock in their company and rolled them into his new venture, Axis Renewables.
Relationship with Clark Folsom
Calhoun recueved investment funds from Clark Folsom to found both Paragon-Global Solutions and Axis Renewables. Calhoun and Folsom's friendship proved to be mutually beneficial, especially when Folsom's son, Andrew, was elected to the National Parliament. Clark Folsom was a banker, venture capitalist, and hedge fund manager in Icaris. He was very wealthy and very powerful. He is the father of Andrew Folsom. At various times he was a key donor and adivor within the Traditionalist Party (Icaris) and was an economic advisor to several RAMP Directors.
