Elections in Karimun

Elections in Karimun have taken place since 2015, the first election after the formation of the modern state of the Federation of Karimun to elect a legislature under the Federal Constitution of Karimun. Elections in Karimun are of several types; at the national level, the president, vice president, the member of the People's Consultative Assembly are elected for a five years term and at the regional level, depends on the states' constitutions. Elections are all regulated under the 2018 National Electoral Law and 2019 Regional Electoral Law which are the most recent and reformed guidelines of elections in both national and regional levels.
