The Eastern Ecros Free Trade Area, shortened EEFTA, is a trade bloc present in eastern Ecros. As of June 2023, this bloc has 5 members. It is governed by the Freista Charter, a founding document signed by all members. The EEFTA guarantees free movement of goods and partial free movement of people. The headquarters is located in Ampëz, Tirol.
History
Proposal
A proposal was made during the late 1960s between countries with smaller markets in Eastern Ecros to counterbalance the major economic giants, like Quebeschire. The idea was to create an alternative market than relying on one.
