Craeperian Republic (Old Creeperian: Respublica Craeperiano) was a republican state which existed from 193 until the fall of the republic and the proclamation of the Kingdom of Craeperia in 232. The Craeperian Republic was the successor state of Craeperia Citerior, a client state of the Romanyan Empire.
The republic was proclaimed in 193 when news of the death of Romanyan Emperor Commodus and subsequent outbreak of a civil war reached Craeperia Citerior. The consuls—Juliano Curtito Flaxo and Caeso Calinio Flavillo—declared full independence from the Romanyan Empire as it recognized Commodus' successors as usurpers. The Craeperian Republic defeated Romanyan soldiers at the Battle of the Vadum River in 197 and assured the new republic's independence from the Romanyan Empire.
The republic fell in 252 following the Craeperian Civil War.
