The Castello del Diavolo (lit. Devil's Castle), is a Salisfordian prison and former fortress located on the L'Isola del Diavolo, an island approximately 3 miles off the coast of the city of Rubicone, which is operated by special officers of the Gendarmeria Reale. It is known for being one of several Salisfordian prisons intended to house political prisoners, dissidents, and prisoners of a nature which necessitate special handling.
Its status as political prison is officially unacknowedged by the Salisfordian government.
