Brenawald officially the State of Brenawald (Kivuian: Staat Brenawald), is a province in western Kivu bordering the provinces of Landenmeer, Nahmer, Ahalebên, Auetal and Wulkanald. Detern is the state capital of Brenawald, as well as the largest city. Brenawald is the eighth-largest of Kivu’s twenty five staats, with an area of 86,987 square kilometres (16,178 sq mi), and the fifth-least populous, with 1,171,986 inhabitants, as of 2020.
