The dong sign: ₫ or informally đ in Baltanese; code: BND) has been the currency of Baltanla since 3 May 1918. It is issued by the State Bank of Baltanla. The dong was also the currency of the predecessor states of Communist Baltanla and the Baltanese Republican Revolt, having replaced the previously used Baltanese Auro.
