Adrianus Fabius Maximus (December 12, 1800-December 1, 1899), was a key figure in the Illyrian Socialist Revolution and was a member of the Ignation School of Philosophy.

Early Life

Born in Turis in 1800, Adrianus' father was a "Novi Hominem" (Jackian: New Man) who had gained his money from the mining industry. Adrianus was recruited at a young age by Ignatius Marcioulaunas Leone and Adrianus joined his school in 1823 after his father fell into debt. After six years of following him, Ignatius fell ill and died in 1829, and Adrianus and eight of his fellow students; including future Grand Marshall of the Union, Titus Mucius Magnus, decided to launch a revolution against the New Order of Illyricum.

Socialist Revolution

Adrianus was named the General of the Second Army of the Illyrian Socialist Revolutionary Coalition, and he would lead this army for 18 years. The war against the New Order of Illyricum slogged on for year after year, until eventually the exhausted Coalition commanders met together on March 12, 1848. Adrianus proposed a plan to draw Romulonysyos Anyastynaxos Maximus and his army to Armorolaus where they would get tied down by the First and Third armies, while the second army drives down from Turis and captures the town of Pharcia, thereby encircling and defeating Romulonysyos once and for all. The plan was approved and put into action two months later. Adrianus' plan was never fully put into action, as Romulonysyos was killed at the Battle of Armorolaus, effectively ending the New Order of Illyricum.

Political Career

After the New Order was overthrown, Adrianus was named to the First New Illyrian Congress as a member of the Chamber of Parliament. Adrianus signed the Constitution of New Illyricum, and he ran for Grand Marshall of the Union in the 1848 Marshallial Election of New Illyricum. Adrianus was soundly defeated by Titus Mucius Magnus, and Titus, who viewed him as a rival, decided to name Pericles Antinous Antiocoles as Marshall of War of New Illyricum, despite Adrianus being more qualified and accomplished. Adrianus spent two years as High Marshall of the Army of New Illyricum working to establish stability in Italia and Ferunia, until Pericles was shot and killed in The Eisley on March 28, 1850. Adrianus was then named Marshall of War of New Illyricum, a position he would hold for twenty years.

Later Life

After his political career ended, Adrianus settled down in Turis with his family, with whom he spent the final twenty-nine years of his life until he died in 1899 of complications relating to old age.
