The National Assembly (Cantuath: Daithead Nàiseanta, lit. National Diet) is the lower house of the Parliament of Hapatmitas, the upper house being the Senate. The National Assembly has 485 seats, all of them elected every four years via mixed-member proportional representation. The house meets in the National Assembly Chamber, located in the East Building of Parliament House. Members of the National Assembly are known as Ball den Pàrlamaids (BdPs).
