The Social Democratic Party (Cantuath: Pàrtaidh Deamocratach Sòisealta), often referred to as the Social Democrats, is one of the the two main political parties in Hapatmitas, along with the National Coalition Party. It is the largest opposition party in both houses of the Tiomnaidh. Currently led by Tom McIntyre, the party is on the centre-left of the political spectrum, embracing the ideology of social democracy and democratic socialism. Unlike its counterpart, the party does not have any factions and is considered one of the most united political organizations in Hapatmitas. The party currently holds 101 seats in the National Assembly and 28 seats in the Senate.
