Mingyang (Monsilvan: 明阳; pinyin: Míngyáng), officially Mingyang Motor Company, is a Monsilvan automobile manufacturer which has produced luxury vehicles since 1908, making it Monsilva's oldest automobile manufacturer, and one of the oldest major companies still operating in Monsilva. Mingyang was founded by Monsilvan mechanical engineer Yang Meilin and Baltanese-Monsilvan railway engineer Ming Zhiqiang (born Minh Chí Cường) in September 1907. The company began producing its first vehicles in 1908, however as it was only based in a small warehouse in Xinji, the company operated more as a garage for vehicle repairs. The company began producing its vehicles commercially around 1928, with Yang and Ming having grown from engineers in a garage, to full blown entrepreneurs.

The company saw significant success throughout the 1930s, 40s and 50s as it dominated the Monsilvan automobile market during a period where purchasing a car was becoming a much more frequent occurrence. The company's growth during this period allowed it to begin opening other production plants across Terraconserva and begin expanding its business. Controversially, the company produced all of the government's vehicles during the martial rule period in Monsilva, however Mingyang has made multiple statements since the end of the period in 1978 saying that the company had little to no choice in the matter.

Mingyang's hold on the Monsilvan luxury vehicles market began slipping in the 1980s as the company's biggest competitor in the automobile industry, Chienkun Rúlla, began to produce its own luxury vehicles which were a huge success. Despite falling behind Chienrú in private vehicle sales globally, Mingyang still stands as the second largest automobile manufacturer in Monsilva and has made a name for itself in multiple other countries as well. However, its former rivalry has not prevented Mingyang from cooperating with Chienrú on multiple business ventures. In 2006, the company split itself into 5 different brands, Mingyang, Hongmei Automobile, Shensi, Litsu'o and Dache Motors. Mingyang is the company's international brand, with all of the other brand's vehicles being sold internationally under the branding Mingyang alongside the original Mingyang branded cars. In terms of the Monsilvan brands, Hongmei branding is for standard SUVs and passenger vehicles; Shensi is for premium electric vehicles; Litsu'o is used for SUVs and MPVs; and Dache is used on commercial vehicles, light trucks, and MPVs.

As of 2022, the company has conceptualized around 450 different vehicles models under 5 different brands, with a total of around 78 models currently in production as of 2023, the most of any automobile manufacturer operating in Monsilva. However only 32 of these models are sold outside of Monsilva. In 2017, Mingyang employed more than 52,000 people globally. The company's global headquarters is located in Xinji, Monsilva. Mingyang has production plants located in five countries across Terraconserva, but sells its vehicles to even more countries across Ostlandet and Ecros. The company produces and sells over 5.5 million units annually.
