The Union of Muslim Workers of Monsilva (Monsilvan: 山国穆斯林工人联合会; pinyin: Shānguó mùsīlín gōngrén liánhé huì; Arabic: اتحاد العمال المسلمين في مونسيلڤا; Quebecshirite: Union Syndicale des Travailleurs Musulmans de Monsilva; USTMM) is a Monsilvan trade union which was formed on 1 May 2000 for muslim workers living in Monsilva, or working for Monsilvan companies in Majocco and Sconia. Despite its name, the trade union advertises itself as a union for workers from Majocco or Sconia working for Monsilvan companies either in or outside of Monsilva. In Monsilva, the majority of its membership have mixed Majoccan/Sconian and Monsilvan heritage. Although the union is not directing at any specific work sectors, most of its members work in construction and manufacturing, with the second largest sector being transportation. The general secretary is Latimah Yin, who was elected in August 2021.
Membership
The union's membership has consistently been climbing since its creation in 2000. The union claimed a membership of 121,231 in March 2024.
Factions
There are a number of factions within USTMM, the largest of which is workers for Yingtai International and Jianshe Construction who make up almost 30% of the union's members.
