Yekaterinograd is the most populated city in Saratov. It serves as the nation's capital and primary economic centre. It was founded by the third Tzar of Saratov, Erzhan I, Erzhan I founded Yekaterinograd to mark the passing of his mother Tzarina Yekaterin, however it going to be the capital originally, Yekaterinograd became the capital during the events of the War of the Princes and caused the court to move from Azatov, the old capital, to Yekaterinograd. Yekaterinograd has remained the capital since 1487 A.D and has only grown since, becoming a major city in the region. It is currently governed by the Saratov Onwards Party and Mayor Adilet Supurovsky and is also home to the Duke of Yekaterinograd Nikolai Arashvili.
Yekaterinograd is home to the Tzar's palace Ak Ordov and the Parliamentary Chambers home to the Common's Chamber and the Ducal Chamber which govern the nation.
