Yekaterinograd is the most populated and most important city in Saratov. It is the nation's capital and primary financial centre. It was founded by the third Tzar of Saratov, Erzhan I. Erzhan I founded Yekaterinograd after the passing of his mother Tzarina Yekaterin, however the capital was not Yekaterinograd it was moved during the events of the War of the Princes which sparked fear and caused the court to move from Azatov to Yekaterinograd. Yekaterinograd has remained the capital since and has only grown since then, becoming a major province in the nation, it is currently governed by the Saratov Onwards Party and is also home to the Duke of Yekaterinograd Nikolai Arashvili.
Yekaterinograd is home to the Tzar's palace Ak Ordov and the Parliamentary Chambers home to the Common's Chamber and the Ducal Chamber.
