Soong Railcar Manufacturing Company (Monsilvan: 宋车辆株式会社; pinyin: Sòng Chēliàng Zhūshì Huìshè) is the rolling stock manufacturing subsidiary of the Monsilvan manufacturing conglomerate, Soong Heavy Industries. Since it began operations in 1922, the company has produced more than 87,000 railroad cars.
Products
As indicated by the name, the company produces mainly railroad vehicles. Most of its products have been manufactured purely by Soong, however many of them have been joint ventures with other rolling stock manufacturers such as Fushao Rail and Fuji no Ashi. The company provides railroad vehicles to both domestic and overseas companies, with many of the Monsilvan Railways Administration's rolling stock consisting of Soong manufactured trains.
