Port Richberg
Port Richberg, Officially known as the Special Administration Zone, is the Capitol city and 2nd largest metropolitan area of Tranquillia. According to the 2022 census, Port Richberg is home to 2,443,722 people living in it’s CBD and Urban metropolitan areas. Port Richberg is also the second largest sea port in Tranquillia and houses 3 commercial shipping ports on it’s southern side along with 2 tourism cruise ports. The city is split into 3 districts, HoShui is the technology hub and houses global offices for dozens of major tech firms along with the campus for Kilon Technological University. Linpa is the financial district of Tranquillia with investment firms, stock trades and banking industries setting up shop there, an average of 300 million routan are traded daily in Linpa. Kenmi is the cities urban district housing the majority of the population in sprawling skyscrapers and towers.
Port Richberg was voted Tranquillia’s most livable city with a GDP per capita (PPP) of around $40,000. With major technology hubs centered in HoShui and financial hubs in Linpa. The city was designed in 1982 by state architecture firm SangJo Industrial Corp and was designed around easy access and renewable energy concepts, in 2021 the city gained significant praise from the international community by switching it’s electricity grid to 100% renewable energy for a period of 12 months.
