Neosur

Neosur (sometimes rendered as Neo-Sur), also referred to as New Sur or Surian Ecros, is a geographical term used to refer to the parts of Ecros that have substantial common cultural and economic grounds with Sur. Definitions vary, but tend to include most or all of the nations in Southern Ecros: Andaluzia, Bladium, Corevilla, Pavulturilor, and Terranihil, all of which once had territories which were a part of the Romanyan Empire.

In Northern Ecros, the term is often used to express the economic inequalities between the north of Ecros, in particular Ikania, Quebecshire, Tirol, and the southern regions. In academic literature, the term refers primarily to cultural differences between northern and southern Ecros. In some places in southern Ecros, the term is seen as offensive and racist, meanwhile, some Surian nationalists embrace the term and push it as a part of the "Surianization" of Ecros.
