Chejjaria, officially known as the Republic of Chejjaria (Arabic: جمهورية الشجر), is a landlocked country located in Ecros. It shares borders with Majocco to the south and Quebecshire to the southeast. The country is divided into nine provinces. Chejjaria's official language is Arabic and uses Quebecshirite as a secondary language.

The most populated cities in Chejjaria are Dhubeira, the capital, Rmeili, Soulieh and Balabek. Dhubeira sits on the Houttin valley, located beside lake Bnaïdin.

Chejjaria is a confessionalist republic, with the ideas of confessionalism laid down in the 1940s by 2 people, Saleh El-Wadood, a Sunni Muslim, and Bacher Al-Houl, a Maronite Christian. The country takes large respect for the diversity of it's religions and has selected certain religious sects to uphold certain roles in politics.

Chejjaria is expected to be around 5,000 years old, with multiple archaeological discoveries being discovered in many regions of the country, especially the lakes, mountains and plains. The area Becharieh lies in is a very important hub of human civilization throughout Chejjaria, as it is one of the most fertile places in the country. The people of the country started religion by worshipping a cycle of gods and goddesses that were carved in many ancient artefacts that are founded around the city of Balabek.

Etymology

The word "Chejjar" came the Arabic word Shījjar (شجر). It was named by the caliphate as the "Land of Trees" (Arabic: الأرض الشجر ; Ārd-ul Shajari) due to the abundance of trees that are founded all over the country. When Chejjaria was under Quebecshirite rule, the word Shijar got romanized to Chejjar.
