wiBS, short for Wirbel-Betriebssystem, is a computer operating system developed by Kivendo. wiBS was the primary operating system used for the Kivuendo’s Wirbel Computers, both desktop and laptop versions. In 2012, it was adapted to be used on Kivendo’s Wirbel Tablets and Wirbel Smartphones.
Major upgrades to the software have been released annually each February, beginning with wiBS 1 which was released in 1999. The most recent update was released on 18 February, 2024.
