Usage

If {{Unicode Vertical Font Name List|display_code}} is used, then above code itself will be displayed on the screen, without executing them. You may use this, when you only want to display the code, rather than use the code.

This template is used in the Unicode font article, and other related articles, where such functionalities are necessary.

The template {{Template:Unicode Vertical Font Name List/VF}} will create vertical-text for supplied/given fontnames for wiki-table's header-cells. This template use HTML & CSS properties to rotate given texts into vertical-text, instead of using SVG based image/picture files for vertical-text.

The template {{Template:Unicode Vertical Font Name List/VFI}} will create vertical-text for supplied/given font information. This template use HTML & CSS properties to rotate given texts into vertical-text, instead of using SVG based image/picture files for vertical-text.

The "Unicode Font" article now uses "for loop" & "VF" & "VFI" templates to show fontnames with vertical-text, and to show font information with vertical text.

Main article "Unicode Font" now re-coded in such way, that, wikipedia editors can now see the entire font-list for each Unicode block sections, inside the main-article, So it is now easier to understand & easier to edit, or easier to add new font or easier to edit appropriate cell data/text.

If an editor adds/removes a font, then the "colspan" code's value need to reflect that, it's value needs to be total number of fonts + 1. And correct position of that font's data cell in each row need to be added/removed.

When adding a font, it should be added into list with alphabetical order. And for that, a new cell in a correct position is need to be added, into each wiki-table-row, inside the wiki-table. A wiki-cell starts with | or ||.

If you're editing this template, please make sure that the 2nd <noinclude> tag remains on the same line as the previous code. Please use "Preview" before "Save". Sometime preview may not show codes properly rightaway. Update both (branch of switch) code lines. You must test the SVG image file in your computer first, by using a test html and place a border around the image, to make sure it has necessary sufficient spaces before and after the font name text, so that any side characters will not get cropped/cut. Also very importantly, right after adding a new font here, you also must have to update all of the linked page's "colspan", with the total # of fonts in this template, so that the html table which it appears on / used in, does not break or display in a wrong way. Also update the font name list inside the 'noinclude' tag in those articles, if that is present. Thanks.
