Uliana Ashram, known by her stage name Liana, is a Denkarti actress and singer, with more than 50 local and international awards. She raised through popularity after her first debut in the Bintang Wanita awards when she was 16, with her first song, Belitan Cinta, winning the 5th Anugerah Juara Wanita and the best awards of Denkarti Fame. Her records of the song sold more than 200,000 units in Denkart. She is also noted to have sung in multiple languages such as Bahasa Denkarti, Baltanian, Monsilvan, Arabic and Berber.

Throughout her musical career, she had broken many Denkarti records and had won more than 100 awards in Denkart, most prevalent awards being the Anugerah Bintang Popular, Anugerah Musik Denkart, Anugerah Wanita Denkart, and much more. She had also won international awards such as the Best National Hero Award, Most Influencial Majoccan and much more.

Aside from her musical career, she is also an actress, starring in many Denkarti dramas and films, most notable movies include Hey! Cik Manis, pergi mana tu?, Hantu 4 pagi, Takdir Aku ialah Dia and Paramesvara. She had also won many awards for acting such as the Anugerah Pelakon Denkart and Pelakon-pelakon paling hebat di Denkart. Her acting debut started when she was 21 years old and had been selected to become a minor role in a TV show named Sarah, after her debut, she gained popularity as a new actress and she had been auditioned to star in many other local TV shows.

Early Life

Uliana Ashram was born on 7 July 1981 in Batu Arai, Syarah, Denkart where she is the third child of five siblings to Ali Ashram Shah, a retired navy officer, and to Noor Lamisa, a housewife. Her family was also an inclined musical family, with one of her siblings, Salma Bint Ashram Shah being a singer, her grandfather Muazzam Shah, who is a local traditional singer.

In her childhood, she was enrolled into various schools. She went to her pre-school Tadika Riyang where she had expressed her interest in singing and sang "Batu Berpecah". She later attended primary school at Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Batu Arai and later enrolled in her secondary school, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Batu Arai. After her graduation, she had enrolled in the Kolej Kebangsaan Batu Arai, with a major in music. During her college years, she had expressed interest in sports, especially volleyball. This was evident that she had participated 2 major sporting events, the Permainan Bola Keranjang Nasional and the Permainan Bola Keranjang Wanita. After her college graduation, she had moved to live in Kuala Denkart for 5 years before taking a visa and emigrating to Majocco.

During her stay in Majocco for 7 years, she had worked as at a local bookstore in Majorca, as a side job, she had also became a street musician singins traditional Denkarti songs. After a while, she had expressed interest in learning more about Majoccan culture and languages, in which she had learned Arabic and Berber for most of her time during her stay, she had also expressed interest in Islam, which led to her taking the Shehada after 4 years of her stay.
