Truru is a ward, covering part of Pow Ereder and Stradnedh Hundreds. The ward has been represented in the Kesva Kernev since 2013 by Rewan Trudhean of Unyans Kernevek.
Ward profile
Truru consists of the hundred town of Pow Ereder Hundred, Truru and its suburbs. It also covers a number of rural parishes in the far north of Pow Ereder, and parts of Stradnedh Hundred.
The ward is one of the highest density areas in Kernev. The economy of Truru is primarily service based, with more limited tourism and rural industries.

2001–present: The Hundred of Pow Ereder parishes of Ponsmeur, Porth an Men, Bethel, Trevujyon and Truru; and the Hundred of Stradnedh parish of Lannvowsedh.
