St Margaret is a country in western Glaskarn. It shares borders with Hunpesh and Gowcester to the west, Zallanstine and Gabrovo to the north, Schweinlandia to the east and Krystallum to the south. It is a landlocked country.
The area that is now St Margaret was first inhabited by the Beruvik, Fallkirk, Finnmork, and Kilmorack tribes in the 8th century. The Fallkirk tribe resisted the efforts of Elkifjor to conquer them and later the Krystallic Empire. The Fallkirk-Kilmorack alliance was at its height the late 15th century. The tribe finally was overthrown in 1562 by the United States of Germaeia and Balintnic.
After the fall of the Fallkirk-Kilmorack tribe in 1562, the area was ruled by Saegalia, Balintnic, and the United States of Germaeia. Eventually the USG controlled the entire area of modern day St Margaret until it was absorbed into the independent nation of Gowcester in 1711.
St Margaret existed as a state of Gowcester until the Gowcester Civil War in 1973. St Margaret became an officially independent nation in 1975.

History of St Margaret
St Margaret's hitory is deep and rich and rooted in individuality as a people. The area today known as St Margaret was first inhabited by the tribes of Beruvik, Fallkirk, Kilmorack, and Finnmork. In 717, Beruvik and Finnmork were part of of the nation of Elkifjor and the Fallon and Kilmora peoples were closely united. Fallkirk represented rugged warrior-like spirit, living off the land and in touch with nature. The Kilmora harnessed their geographic location on the Kilmora Sea (today the Polonic Sea) to conduct trade and early manufacturing.
From 717-793 the allied tribal nations were in continual battle with Elkifjor. By 793, their territory had been re-shaped many times and shrunk by half.
1043 Fallkirk invasion of Elkifjor, failed attempt
1212 Krystallic Empire founded, reshaped
In the late 13th century, Jursanity began to spread rapidly in Glaskarn. Margaret Reilly, a Kilmora citizen of the Krystallic Empire adopted Jursanity, using the Reformed Translation of the Puirlava. She grew her ministry alongside the Empress' husband of the KE to convert citizens of the Empire. Reilly died in 1309, but her role in Jursanity lived on as its own sect of Jursanity known as Margath Jursanity.
Margath Jursanity became the identity of the Fallon and Kilmora peoples.
Between 1470-1479 expansion (also formal allied nation)
During the collapse of the Krystallic Empire (1481-1503) they gained two new neighbors in Balintnic and Saegalia. When the Krystallic Empire fell in 1503, Fallkirk-Kilmorack became very concerned.
1562 Fallkirk-Kilmorack defeated by the Triple Coordinate, divided Balintnic, Saegalia and USG. Government and warriors in exile realized Balintnic and Saegalia had too many ethnic differences internally, and knew their relationship was unstable. They moved their families and institutions to be under the protection of the the USG. Their decision paid off in 1609 with the fall of Saegalia after USG's invasion.
In 1711, the Fallon and Kilmora assisted the Cesterton people in a relatively peaceful independence from the USG, united in their language and ethnicity.
1901 Gowcester established the State of St Margaret, recognizing their distinguishing factors as a separate peoples.
1975 Gains independence from Gowcester after Gowcester civil war over religion.
States of Cesterton and Margaret (USG)
Saegalia controlled the Gowcester region from 1562-1609 when Balintnic and the USG defeated them. In 1609, the region became the State of Cesterton and the State of Margaret within the USG.
