Debut and early fights

In November of 2018, the AML announced their signing of Orlovski to a three-fight contract. He was set to debut against Tau Tonumaipe'a on 12 October 2018 for his first bout in the promotion alongside Montcrabin jiu-jitsu prospect Cristiano Saraiva. However, the highly anticipated "Rookiemania" event had a setback with Orlovski injuring his ankle, forcing his match to be delayed.

The disqualification punch
Orlovski's disqualifying strike against Tonumaipe'a

On 19 December 2018, Orlovski made his AML debut against Tonumaipe'a. Immediately, the match seemed to be going in his favor. However, only one minute and twenty two seconds into the bout, the referee stopped the match after he claimed that Orlovski had struck Tonumaipe'a in the back of the head. Shortly after, he was disqualified, giving the win to Tonumaipe'a and achieving his only loss in his career. This decision however, was extremely controversial with many arguing to give the win back to Orlovski, but as it stands, Tonumaipe'a still holds the win.
