The Rice Act of 1606, informally known as the Rice Act or the Staple Act was an act passed by the Council of Nations of the Republic of Mesri in 1633 that allowed to manage the production and distribution of rice, the Rice Act allowed the government to ban the export of rice during the emergency era to secure the domestic food consumption, the act also abolished the irrigation tax.
