This is a list of coups d'état and coup attempts by country, listed in chronological order. A coup is an attempt to illegally overthrow a country's government. Scholars generally consider a coup successful when the usurpers are able to maintain control of the government for at least seven days.
Entropan
- July 8, 1807: The Liberal Restoration Council, led by Dominik Vass, overthrew the government of the Heavenly Kingdom of Entropan and dissolved it, installing the Liberal Republic of Entropan
- 1818: The Detek Plot: Seventeen members of the Káhttari Defence Council arrested and executed for a plot to overthrow the government of the Liberal Republic.
- December 9, 1828: The Uryha Orthodox Association temporarily overthrew the government of the Common Association of Entropan, who reestablished order after two days of the new government.
- 1856: Three governmental ministers of the Rockr-Nasjonensråd arrested and executed over alleged plotting to overthrow the Second Republic of Entropan.
- January 3, 1950: The Social Democratic Party, aided by Maledonian police forces, temporarily overthrow the government in response to the independence of Reykanes following the Norse War. The government is re-instated after three hours , and the entire party leadership is arrested and tried, but pardoned by then-Prime Minister Martin Krag to re-establish national unity.
Mogyoróskan Association
- February 1840: The Mogyoróskan Association is overthrown by the Radical Orthodox League, who abolish the House of Royals in favour of absolute power for the Mogyoróskan Government.
- March 17, 1842: The Mogyoróskan Governing Bloc overthrows the Radical Orthodox League.
