The Kivuian Men’s National Football Team (Kivuian: Kivuische Fußballnationalmannschaft) represents Kivu in men's international football competitions. It is managed and run by the Kivuian Football Association (Kivuische Fußballverband). The team was founded in 1920, and played its first match in 1922.

Kits and Crest

With the exception of 1967-1972, the team has historically worn kits with colors derived from the Flag of Kivu. Kivu typically wears a green shirt, black shorts, and blue socks for home matches; for away matches the team wears a white shirt, black shorts, and blue socks. From 1967-1972, the team wore a red shirt, blue shorts, and green socks for home matches; and a white shirt, blue shorts, and red socks. Due to a lack of support from fans, the team changed back to the orginial colors in 1973.

In 1992, Kit manufacturer released a third "alternate" kit, that consists of a blue shirt with yellow shorts and socks.

The logo of the Kivuian Football association, which serves as the team's crest, is worn over the left breast. The current logo was designed in 1953. Before 1953, the team wore the Coat of Arms of Kivu in the same place as the current logo.

Kit Suppliers

Since 1975, Kit manufacturer has manufactured most of the team kits, except for 1997-2001 when Kit Manufacturer supllied the kits after company and the team couldn't come to an agreement to renew the contract. Before 1975, the kits were made by Kit manufacturer (1920-1929), Kit manufacturer (1929-1942), and Kit manufacturer (1943-1974).

In 2001, the team and company came to an agreement on a ten year, $100 million QSC contract, the contract was extended for another ten years in 2017.
