The Kingdom of Rome was a historic country in modern Zapolonia S.S and Romanum S.S in New Illyricum. Founded around 1500 BC by mythological King Romanus son of Julis, the god of the earth in Illyrian mythology. The Kingdom reached it height in the 700s when it spread throughout most of southwestern Illyricum. The Kingdom engaged in the Third Roman War with the Old Kingdom of Illyricum from 696 to 685 in which it was defeated most famously at the Battle of Caudipus and was forced to surrender most of it's northern holdings. The Kingdom experienced heavy turmoil throughout the fifth and fourth centuries BC due to political instability and the growing power of Illyricum. However it formed an alliance with the Kingdom of Secundia and fought Illyricum in the First Illyric War from 355 to 332, in which they brutally conquered much of eastern Illyricum. Wars against Illyricum continued until the first century, when a massive famine toppled Roman power, making them helpless against their southern Romanyan neighbors. Romanyan forces eventually captured Romanum in 22 BC and ended the long rule of the Kingdom.
