Ichinomiya (一宮 In Giriskonese) Is a large metropolis in Girisko, serving as it's capital city, as well as the largest city in the country, bordering the Kivu Ocean to the east, and being situated in central Ostlandet. It provides the headquarters for the Imperial Bureau of Secret Intelligence of Girisko, Department of Defense, National Police Agency, The Supreme Court and the Congress. The city, consisting of an estimated 2.8 million people, is a major tourist attraction and economic powerhouse for both the nation and central Ostlandet, playing a major role in the development of the nation, having various dockyards, hotels, industrial factories, and more, being a trade hub and home to a large manufacturing sector. It also provides various services, housing the prestigious University of Ichinomiya, also simply called the Ichinomiyan University, which is the best in the country and is known for its quality and expertise. The outskirts of Ichinomiya house a science park called "Star Valley", which is the largest science park in central Ostlandet and which holds over five campuses, with over 402 research companies employing 160,000 people there, and is the nation's hub of innovation. In addition, the government's ministry of health is also headquartered near the campus. In addition, Ichinomiya also houses the Golden Palace, the home of the imperial family.
The transit system of Ichinomiya is administered by the Girisko Railways Administration, with the largest metro being the Ichinomiya Metro, and there is also the GiriskoFlightZ International Airport and Ichinomiya City Airport. The Ichinomiyan Municipal Police, Ichinomiyan Fire Service and Ichinomiyan State Ambulance offer emergency services to civilians.
