The Hapatmitasian pioban (ˈfiəpən) (ISO code: HPB) is the official currency of Hapatmitas. The pioban (sign: ₴) is also the main unit and is divided into 100 firura (Ø).
The Bank of Hapatmitas is the central bank for the pioban, responsible for issuing its banknotes and regulating the issuance of banknotes by private banks. The National Mint is the primary mint for pioban coins. The pioban is only considered as legal tender in Hapatmitas. There are currently 5 circulating pioban banknotes - ₴5, ₴10, ₴20, ₴50, ₴100 - and 4 circulating coins - Ø10, Ø20, Ø50, ₴1. Until 1998, the Bank was also responsible for issuing and regulating the issuance of the ₴200 and ₴500 banknotes; the Bank ordered the National Mint in the same year to stop producing Ø5 coins. Since 2016, the government has slowly authorised the usage of digital payment in the country; paperback money is still commonly used.
