Governor-General of Reykanes (Reykani:Ríkisstjóri) was the military commander and the highest administrator of Reykanes under Entropan rule in the Principality of Reykanes between 1781 and 1949. The governor-general represented the Prime Minister of Entropan between 1781-1805 and 1851-1949, during 1805-1851, the Chancellor of Mogyoróska who was not personally present in Reykanes. The position was a permanent one, held until death, reassignment, or removal from office. The governor-general was the highest representative of the government and received his instructions directly from the Entropan government in Maledonia.
Most governor-generals were Entropans, men who the the leader trusted. However, on a few occasions ethnic Reykanis have been appointed by the Entropan government.
The position was abolished in 1949, following Reykanes's communist revolution which abolished the colonial government and declared independence from Entropan.
