Extraire is a sandbox video game developed by Mojudon. The first version of the game was created in 2008 by Marc Prieur and Vincent Ducasse for the TBD programming language. Following numerous private test versions and several temporary additions and removals to/from the game, it was released as a paid public alpha for users in early 2009, though the game was officially released for all users at the price of ₵20 in November 2010, the day after the Day of Good Fortune was celebrated in Quebecshire. Since the games release, Extraire has since been expanded to several other platforms, including mobile and gaming consoles. The game has sold XX million copies since its release in 2010, and Extraire still enjoys a relatively large user base of roughly XX million monthly active users as of 2020.

In Extraire, players spawn in an infinite procedurally-generated 3D world composed of a variety of blocks, and are able to do what they want. Players are able to craft tools and items allowing them to extract resources from above and below ground, collect blocks, and build structures and functional contraptions. In Extraire's Survival Mode, players have limited resources and have to collect food and resources in order to stay alive, while also visiting the games three dimensions. The eventual goal of Survival Mode is to defeat the Ender Beast, though there are a variety of things players can strive towards after defeating this final boss. In the game's Creative Mode, players have unlimited resources and access to the vast majority of the blocks in the game, allowing them to build without fear of running out of resources or being attacked by mobs. Extraire can be easily modified to create new features and assets.

Extraire has been critically acclaimed both in Quebecshire and across the world, winning numerous awards and enjoying widespread popularity on social media and in popular culture. Extraire has largely become popular thanks to its popularity in social media, its active developers, and the large number of parodies and merchandise created about the game. Extraire is able to be used in the field of education, with the game's Educational Mode offering students a wide variety of new tools and blocks. The game has also been used to educate on the field of computing systems thanks to its mechanics that have allowed virtual computers and hardware devices to be created ingame. Several spin-off games have been produced (some by Mojudon themselves and some not), such the controversial Extraire: Story Mode.
