Enjolans are a multi-ethnic group of people living in Enjola. The government classifies them into several broad racial categories, which largely consist of "Native" Enjolans, "White" Ecrosian/Enjolans, "Black" Ecrosian/Enjolans, and "Arab." These classifications stem from Enjola's apartheid era, when oppressive, discriminatory laws against miscegenation were imposed. Despite the derogatory history of these terms, modern censuses continue to uphold the usage of these categories in its demographic surveys.
