The coat of arms of Hapatmitas, known officially as the National Emblem of the Commonwealth (Cantuath: Suaicheantas Nàiseanta a’ Co-fhlaitheis), has been the country's coat of arms since 1950, adopted at the same time as the flag of Hapatmitas. The emblem derives from an older version from the Imperialist period, which was used as the emblem of the highest law enforcement officer in the country. The current emblem depicts a grey, freed portcullis charged against a four-cornered blue and white heraldic shield with rounded lower corners crowned by a sailor's cap. The full achievement includes the star and collar of the Legion of Honour.
