The Chienrú K12Z is a coach chassis manufactured by Chienrú since 2001. The engine is 12 litres and is similar to the engine of the Chienrú FH12 truck, but is horizontal and able to be mounted under the floor.
The chassis is available at either normal length (12 metres) or bogie (14 metres) or articulated/double articulated (18/24 metres). Buses based on this chassis have a high floor and steps inside all doors, but with different floor heights depending on the design. The chassis, like its predecessor, could be had with an extra flat rear platform, i.e. a flat and sometimes sunken floor behind the rear axle where you can load prams or wheelchairs. As with some variants of the chassis' predecessor, this chassis can also be had a completely low floor in the rear platform.
