Since the early 1960s, cattle rustling has occurred in Itse Ulagohisdi; Sequoyan cattle rustlers have stolen cattle and herded them into Creeperopolis to sell to various villages in Sonsonate. Cattle rustling is one of the most common crimes in Itse Ulagohisdi.
