The Battle of Susla occurred from 17 to 19 November 1460. It was the final battle of the Juañero Civil War and ended in a victory for the Vázquista faction which supported Armando Figueroa Rosales's claim to be rightful captain general of San Juan. The execution of Viceroy Luís Rivera Sánchez ended 28 years of Rivera family rule of Susla.
