Headers
Are useful for marking out what subjects are covered more in depth throughout your page. We use "== ==" rather than "= =" because otherwise it the header could be confused for the title bar.

Images
Surrounding a file name like "File:Default pfp.jpg" in square brackets displays the image (assuming it is hosted here, or on Wikimedia Commons).
But having the image bare and floating in the middle of our text can look bad.
