Amini bin Hussein al Mahra (Arabic:أميني بن حسين المهرة ;27 Feburary 1897 – 17 December 1988) was Sultan of Zahle from 1967 to 1988. Amini is considered one of the most despotic Sultans, harshly cracking down on dissent within Zahle during his reign. His government crackdowns and suppression of political movements ultimately led to the start of the Zahle Civil War, which Amini did not live to see the end of.
