Alexandra Johanna Berkhoff (born November 7, 1985) is a Kivuian politician who has been the Chancellor of Kivu since X X 2020. A member of the Democratic Socialist Party of Kivu, before becoming chancellor she had previously served in the Parliament of Kivu , representing the province of Landerberge from 2015 to 2020.
Berkhoff was born in Altenberg, Kivu where she lived most of her life prior to her being elected to Parliament.

Early Life
Alexandra Johanna Berkhoff was born on November 7, 1988, in Altenberg, Kivu.
Berkhoff attended high school in Altenberg, where she graduated at the age of 19 in 2008. After graduating from high school, she attended the Univeristy of Kivu at Altenberg from 2009 to 2015. Berkhoff graduated from the University of Kivu with a bachelor’s and master’s in X.
Early Political Career
In multiple interviews, Berkhoff has said she believes her political career began when she joined the Democratic Socialist Party’s youth group, in 2011. She became the group’s vice president in 2013, and served in that role until 2015. She has also said she credits the youth group with getting her involved in politics.
While in college, Berkhoff ran unsuccessfully for a seat in the Altenberg City Council.
Member of Parliament
In 2015, Berkhoff was elected to the Kivuian Parliament as an MP from the Province of Düsuntberg. Where she quickly became a rising star in Kivuian politics.
Minister of Foregin of Affairs
On September 2nd 2018, Berkhoff was appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, after the resignation of X following the X scandal.
2020 Kivuian Chancellor Election
In 2019, Berkhoff announced her intention to run as the DSP’s candidate for prime minister
