The 2016 League of Conservative Nations coup led to the expulsion of presidential claimant Nagarno from regional politics until 2018, and the dissolution of their draft constitution.

Background

Early League of Conservative Nations politics was often influenced by the politics of other conservative regions, namely the Greater Conservative Alliance and United Alliance of Conservative Nations. Nagarno had been involved in politics previously in the Greater Conservative Alliance, having allegedly breached their laws and fled before being held for a trial, and members of that region were appalled to see him take the office of president and advocated for his removal. Domestically, Nagarno made enemies of League of Conservative Nations Armed Forces by insisting that non-military nations would be required to participate in raids, attempting to subvert the authority of the General of the Armed Forces, and denigrating the occupation of Legion of Nazi as tyrannical.

Coup

Conservative States of New America announced that if Nagarno was not recalled by 11 June 2016, they and the regional military would secede from the region. Nagarno then left the region, before returning and accusing Conservative States of New America of treason, asking for a trial to be held in the United Alliance of Conservative Nations. This trial never happened, and eventually, the anti-Nagarno rhetoric shifted focus away from their time and actions as president towards their illegal insertion of other accounts into the region. Instead of a trial being held for Nagarno's actions with alternate account, as was advocated by others in the region, Adawn unilaterally decided to ban them.
