The Vaktrian alphabet is the script used for writing Classical Vaktrian. It was adapted from the Greek(?) alphabet and augmented by letters borrowed from hieroglyphs. It is the first script used for any of the Vaktrian languages. It was first used by the Ancient Vaktrian people c. 400 BC until the adoption of the Iberic Script after the Romanyan conquest of much of western Terranihil]]. The alphabet was also used to write the sacred X texts and literature of that era. It is used today for religious purposes.
