Official:tm: Review

  • Should not be using AD, too late in history
  • Needs to use Death Date and Age template
  • En dashes are needed for Years active when showing a timespan in years
  • Painting names should be italicized (MOS:Italics)
  • Dethos Island (not Island of Dethos)
  • Apollonia should be linked once in the main text of the article when first mentioned
  • Old Kingdom of Illyricum ceased to exist 1525 years before Julian was born, so that nationality (or the other page) is wrong
  • Gallery of art section should be moved to its own page (see Wikipedia’s List of works by Leonardo da Vinci)
  • "Unforgiving and impractical."- Unforgiving should be lowercase in this quote
  • Sharks kill people, they don’t eat people (citation: Creeper) “eating is too specific”
  • Gangsters in the 16th century? Maybe use different, more era-appropriate word.
  • “One night in late September” (specify year if known).
  • Sources should be unbiased, or other sources are unavailable, critically examined (Julian’s letters to his friend are primary sources).
  • The start year to Julian’s professional relationship with Marius Levesio should be specified if known
  • "Julian decided to forge out to make a name for himself." is non-encyclopedic
  • "with the move to Illyricus a very clear change in his portrait style can be seen"- This is very subjective, but could be backed with art expert citations to become more encyclopedic
  • "resented by other artists" such as?
  • "iced out" is a euphemism
  • “he married Adriana Pavelekh, a Pavulturilori noble” would be “noblewomen”
  • For the art school, set up should be changed to established
  • The art school’s reputation is highly subjective and claims need citations.
  • "The idea of murder was floated by authorities"
    • Passive voice
    • Which authorities?
