The Riobi Empire was an ancient empire founded by the Tribe of Riobi after the siege of the City of Janus. The Tribe of Riobi rivaled the Waldoccian Empire until its collapse in 323. The Tribe ruled their territory once again after the fall of the Empire until 466 when they established an empire of their own.
The Riobi Empire was innovative and fostered intentional community structuring despite being a nomadic and agrarian tribe. They worshipped elemental Gods, connecting them to the nature of which they cultivated.
In 490, they absorbed the city state of Portoan, expanding their coastal influence. In 501, the Riobi Empire absorbed the city state of Toran, becoming the Toruse Empire.
